Among the perennial tasks involved in the maintenance and productivity of this (for want of a brief title) meta-journal are those related to transferring data from other sources to this location. I list the following in the format of check-boxes, despite perennial nature of these tasks, and that is due to what is mostly an aesthetic motivation, but that involves also a desire to incite activity through this form. Hence I list formats or modes of data production which I use often and hence which will just as often (virtually) prompt their respective data-transference task.
- []Meanwhile II
- []750words
- []Black notebook
In creating these tasks I am making an assumption regarding my intention for use of Evernote. That assumption is too large and complicated to be summarized completely with any certainty and definitely not within any sort of gnomic statement, of the type I am fond and thus prone to creating. In any case, that assumption involves details of the value of replicating data into Evernote, for example, the benefits of Evernote relating to functions like reference (viz. Evernote is useful for referencing data long after its creation).
12.10.13. Another method I may use for planning this journal relates to types of content. What I am referring to are ideas I have of categories that will not only subsume various writings, but also inspire them. This can include an enormous range, but at the present point I am interested in a particular scope, and that includes “media reviews” or perhaps “review of things that exist on media”.
Nomenclature notwithstanding, the types of things I am focusing on are even more limited, and will provide a clearer impression: Regarding books, television and movies, websites and games.
22.07.14. I had considered that this would be the only new Stack, as differentiated from all that been prior, and which had been archived into two numbered Stacks, respective to continuous efforts. But as I have foreshadowed, there is another Stack which was created after this one. Namely ClippingsConverter, which is produced by an automatic mechanism that rips quotes (per highlights, and also comments) from my Kindle, creating individual Notebooks for each text’s title, and creating individual Notes for each quote or comment.
I can further observe changes in Notebooks’ usage. Meanwhile II analogue and 750words analogue have been on hiatus in parallel with a stoppage in writing at those internet places. That covers the two sources listed above in this note. Insofar as I’m aware, some Black Notebook content was copied into Things I write here, but only up to a point. This allows me to raise an apropos issue: the use of physical notebooks too. Note also that at the present time the Black Notebook has been filled (and along with the Big One, is considered as an archive). And so new notebooks have been introduced into the rotation. These basically include:
- Small Blue Book – was basically valued and utilized for its practical size.
- Green Book – has become a place where I write things slowly and nicely, and have to date begun to have filled a small section enough to give a feel for some rhyme or reason.
- Yellow Spiral – Began for use of noting whilst reading, to which has organically been added further reading-related noting, including mind mapping; but also, some space has been used for a diary experiment to document positive actions daily and health, since this book has a place to date pages.
This leaves me scrambling to describe the relationship between my physical and electronic (Evernote) notebooks. To be continued. And apropos things here uncompleted, I need to develop to develop a tag system for my quotes, which is relevant to be mention here because I need to decide how to incorporate non Kindle quotes in this Account (nb. ClippingsConverter is likely exclusive by design).
