Rodent is GM to allow injection of adult cell to revert into pluriopotent cell inside organ (nb. displaying more SC markers than expected). Compare with previous work on stem cells acting to regenerate damaged gut. But: next step. How can we possibly intent to inject cells into a human with the intention of having those cells first transform into pluripotent cells, before continuing to transform into relevant cells and assisting appropriately. The authors suggested to avenues for continuing exploration. Can inject chemicals for pluripotency-transformation directly into organ. Which is one. Two.
