So far, Kant has been justifying the need for his work, and its strategy. By merely S6, the text says that he is proceeding by explicating synthetic a priori.<\/p>\n
1.2.2. Hume failed to appreciate the concept of the synthetic a priori (which would have allowed him to generalize his critique of Cause).<\/p>\n
1.3. Is Metaphysics possible?<\/p>\n
1.3.1. First question the nature of pure cognition, the vital role of intuition (of form), what it means to have an intuition of an object when it has also to be synthesized.<\/p>\n
1.3.1.1. Space\/time are properties of the mind.<\/p>\n
1.3.2. Explains how this line of questions\/answers does not hold Kant to idealism. In the process of which, he offers some alternative<\/p>\n
